@ SCADpro Future Proof - Design Challenge

PROBLEM

SCADpro Future Proof provided a platform for teams to discover problems and provide solutions for fan experience during the COVID-19 pandemic. Fans lack a good experience when they enjoy their online concert.

CONCEPT

In remote collaboration with two designers from UW and ZJU, we conceptualized and designed a multi-platform app to enhance immersion in the online concert experience.

CHALLENGE

How might we create a new form of online concert experience that is as amazing as an on-site one?

BACKGROUND

01 - PROBLEM SPACE

When offline concerts were cancelled or transferred to the online versions due to COVID 19, fans were disappointed with the current online concerts' monotonous and lack of immersive experience.

02- QUICK LOOK OF THE SOLUTION

To make a virtual online concert immersive, interactive, social, engaging, and fun.

We conceptualized a new form of immersive online concert experience, where users can enter with their virtual characters, and use their mobile devices as interactive glow sticks.

SOLUTION

We also designed the whole journey of the online concert: building anticipation, immersively interacting during the concert, and transferring the energy from the live concert into life.
